After the last national corona lockdown in India in May/June of this year, production at MEHLER’s Indian site in Bangalore was ramped up to full capacity again after just a few days. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank our Indian team for their great work during this challenging time.
The market for technical textiles is growing steadily, both in India and worldwide. Thanks to the international quality standards achieved at our Indian site, we can meet even the highest demands of our customers in India and overseas.
MEHLER is expanding its production capacities in order to meet the increased demand. An additional finishing line for technical threads is currently being installed in Bangalore. On this finishing line, soft cords for end applications such as tubes and tires are impregnated with our RF-free finish MEHLER SUSTAIN ADHESIVE(MSA) or standard RFL finishes to enable adhesion to various rubber compounds.
The first regular production at the new plant will start in the fourth quarter of 2021.
