MEHLER’s location in Shengze, China, celebrates its 30th anniversary!
30 years ago, in 1993, MEHLER founded a promising joint venture and started with two production lines for soft cords in Shengze.
Today, the Chinese plant is fully owned by MEHLER and is one of the main suppliers to the Chinese market when it comes to technical threads (soft cords, stiff cords, special threads) for applications such as drive belts, air springs and hoses.
Last week, almost 100 employees, the management, some invited customers and five representatives of the Chinese local and district government celebrated the company’s anniversary in style.
Highlights of the celebrations were the congratulatory speeches by the local government representative and MEHLER’s management and the subsequent honoring of employees with 15, 20 and 30 years of service.
The celebration was rounded off with congratulatory videos of the MEHLER sisters from other locations around the world, Chinese dance performances, a magic show and a video with sand painting about the company.
