An exemplary project for the sustainable generation, digitalization and saving of energy was finally implemented at our Portuguese production plant for technical fabrics.
Together with our local partner Smartwatt, a mini-photovoltaic system was installed and an integrated energy management system implemented, which makes the following possible:
- Monitoring and managing the consumption of electricity, water and natural gas
- Monitoring and control of the electricity generated by the photovoltaic system
- Control of the entire energy consumption in the production halls and production facilities
With this project, we are achieving remarkable savings in energy consumption and lower operating costs – as well as a significantly reducedCO2 footprint!
