Our journey toward a greener future continues with the expansion of our photovoltaic installation at our engineered fabrics factory in Landim, Portugal!
This year, we installed a new photovoltaic system with 3.260 panels and a total capacity of 1.793 kWp. This represents around 20% of our energy consumption, reducing our carbon footprint by an impressive 422 tons of CO2 annually.
This new system complements the existing system, which produces 250 kWp and currently feeds energy to the grid. From 2026 onwards, it will be integrated into our consumption, boosting our self-sufficiency. By that time, nearly 24% of our energy consumption will come from our own renewable sources.
This marks another significant step toward our sustainability goals and demonstrates our dedication to reducing environmental impact while fostering innovation.
